Okay hold on, let me tell you why I'm calling you a monkey!
We humans build relationships by chatting, hugging, or helping each other out, right? On the other hand, monkeys do the same by grooming each other.
NOT ONLY THAT, their social status is decided by who grooms whom!!

You’ve probably seen monkeys sitting in groups, gently parting each other’s fur and carefully picking through it. They groom each other to remove parasites like ticks, fleas, and lice. These tiny pests can cause discomfort, infections, or even disease. Since monkeys can’t reach every part of their own bodies, they rely on trusted companions to help keep them clean.
But it’s not just about staying tick free, its about friendship and social status!

This grooming ritual is called allogrooming, which also helps build and maintain strong social ties. In monkey troops, social rank often determines who gets groomed and by whom.

Lower-ranking monkeys may groom higher-ranking ones to earn favor (Yup, bribing), while close companions groom each other to strengthen bonds of trust and friendship ( so if you were a monkey and you want your best friend's daughter to marry your son, start grooming your best friend's head).
Sometimes, monkeys also rub medicinal plants on each other for repelling insects for a longer time.
Aren't they jungle geniuses!
Anyway,
If you sit with your dog and check for ticks and fleas frequently , then you my friend are mimicking monkeys! There are others ways to bond with your dog and unlike monkeys though, we have much better options than picking ticks one by one.
Wanna keep them clean along with tick protection?
Wanna keep them tick and flea free for 30 days straight?
Wanna protect them from ticks along with protecting them against 12 different types of skin parasites and 26 types of indications?
Wanna add a cherry on the top, give per day protection!
Haha, very creative
